Residents of Jaghori district in Ghazni province have built nine medical centers during the first six months of the current solar year.
The construction costs of these centers were covered by local residents. The lack of medical facilities and limited access to healthcare services in remote parts of Afghanistan remain major challenges to public health.
Jaghori is one of the districts of Ghazni province that, despite numerous challenges—particularly in infrastructure and public services—has witnessed extensive community-driven efforts toward development. The people of this region, through active participation in various projects ranging from education to healthcare, strive to improve living conditions and achieve sustainable development despite existing limitations.
